Ayahuasca Retreat Seekers & Researchers
Like many others, I had a truly meaningful encounter with Ayahuasca in Peru, but researching retreat centers was confusing and a bit overwhelming. Who do I trust? Where do I start?
I started thinking about how I might add something of value to this important work, so I began building this catalogue of safe Ayahuasca retreat centers, organized by country.
At a glance, you’ll see several (or many) Ayahuasca retreat options available in each country – retreat names, locations, durations, price tiers, and even a map to quickly determine what may be ideal for you, and what is not.
* Note: Price tiers are relative to the other retreats in that country, so the most affordable [$] retreats in one country, may actually be the same cost as the most expensive [$$$] retreats in another country.
Each retreat center has been pre-screened for any pattern of negative reviews, with a particular concern for reports of abuse or malicious business practices.
This information can change quickly, so we offer no guarantees, but our list should serve as an excellent starting place to launch your own search and research. You should feel confident in whatever retreat center you choose, so please do your due diligence to find a safe space for this extraordinary experience.
Please inform us if any of our listed retreats may no longer be safe – we’ll investigate.
Wishing you a safe & meaningful journey,
Chris A.
Ayahuasca Retreat Owners & Operators
If you represent an established, safe, and reputable Ayahuasca retreat center, we’re happy to include you on JourneyAya.com.
But first, we’ll need to check Google, Facebook, Reddit, AyaAdvisors, Retreat Guru – wherever reputations are established or destroyed.
We certainly understand that every operation, organization, or business will sometimes receive negative reviews – you simply can’t please everyone – but any repeated reports of abuse or shady business practice will disqualify a center from inclusion.
